I just realized I have no "traveling" icons! Me! Who goes out of town all the time!

Anyway, the big America! Fuck Yeah! road trip is upon us. I feel like we've been talking about this FOREVER when in reality it's only been since maybe October or so that the plans really got rolling. When we first started planning for this I thought the redwoods would have me in their thrall but now I'm thinking our campsite in Grand Teton has captured my heart:



I mean, really? I have the possibility of waking up to THAT!?

Beefalos! Er, bison! Apparently these guys love to take a stroll through the campsite we're planning on staying at in Yellowstone.

Hopefully we won't have a re-enactment of this OR see any of these (up close) on our trip:



So much left to do but at least we've got our animals taken care of. Speaking of, I got my moneys from the gubment - a portion of this will be going towards shaving Keety.

Poor Keety.

So, we need to start finish packing and um..stuff. It's gonna be COLD at night in Yellowstone and Grand Teton. I called my mom earlier on my way home from work and here is a synopsis of our conversation:

mom: ARE YOU AFRAID OF GRIZZLES IN YOUR CAMPSITE!?
Angel: NO I'M AFRAID OF FREEZING TO DEATH!

That pretty much sums it up.
